Current conditions

An Atlantic front will pass over us and slowly move eastwards on Monday. Initially, the clouds will therefore often be denser and a few rain showers are to be expected. As the day progresses, however, the weather will slowly calm down again and it will also clear up in places. It will be less warm than recently. On Tuesday, the influence of high pressure will increase again and the sun will come through better despite a few residual clouds or spring clouds with slightly rising temperatures. In the middle of the week and towards the weekend, mostly friendly summer weather will prevail with a weak influence of high pressure and the sun will usually shine for longer during the day. Even over the mountains the likelihood of isolated warm thunderstorms is rather low in the afternoons and evenings. However, these cannot be ruled out, especially on Thursday. Stronger gusts of wind are also possible in the vicinity of any thunderstorms. Temperatures will be back to early summer levels.
„As a meteorologist in the region, I am not only very familiar with the small-scale meteorological particuliarities that distinguish the Arlberg region from other regions, but also with the demands that locals and guests place on a regional weather report.“

Sunshine skiing or powder snow fun?

The weather in the mountains can change from one moment to the next. There might only be a few minutes between blue skies and snowfall. Especially in Lech Zürs am Arlberg, where the Lechquellen range, the Lechtal and the Allgäu Alps, and the Verwall range meet. Our aim is to provide you with the most reliable weather forecast. That’s why we put our trust in meteorologist Thomas Pichler, who lives and works in the Arlberg region. He knows about the particularities of the area and accurately forecasts the weather – even for the special microclimate of Lech Zürs.
