Current conditions

A high-pressure system will largely control the weather in the country heading into the weekend. As a result, despite some patches of clouds, the sun will often shine for longer periods, and temperatures will be in line with the current season. In the afternoon, some cumulus clouds will repeatedly form over the mountains but should remain harmless for now. Only on Sunday does the risk of showers slightly increase. However, the weather will mostly remain pleasant and dry. At the start of next week, the atmospheric conditions will become more unstable due to an approaching Atlantic low-pressure system from the west, increasing the likelihood of rain showers and thunderstorms. Nonetheless, the sun should still be able to shine, especially in the mornings, and temperatures will be similar to those over the weekend. The bad weather front from this low-pressure system, with more rain showers, will likely reach us by midweek.
„As a meteorologist in the region, I am not only very familiar with the small-scale meteorological particuliarities that distinguish the Arlberg region from other regions, but also with the demands that locals and guests place on a regional weather report.“
